2010-05-21 * The best is yet to come

Fourth day of fishing with Jim and I promised him that a big catch him Mbenga. We start the camp at 6am and the sun is just rising, you see boatmen who fish all night and want to sell us a dead fish so that they're used to fish for Mbenga. Us arrive at a good fishing hole and point to the Jim where he should throw his bait ... I take my camera and I filmed and after 6 or 7 minutes the lure of Jim falls under a tree that is the waterfront. ... the lightning attack of Mbenga is not expected and a large flowage of water is splashing water surface and Jim exclaimed, "WOW! Mbenga on hand at full speed and makes a new jump surface, Jim shivers and I see his eyes sparkle with joy and I for one still filming the fight by giving some small safety advice to Jim. After the first jump I Mbenga estimated + / - 25 kg and warned that Jim is happy to finally fight a big Mbenga. 20 minutes have passed and Mbenga revolves around the boat from time to time to the surface and plunges immediately using his last strength. The Mbenga finally arrived with the boat, I grabbed the hand of a steel cable from the bottom line by hand ... then the Mbenga jumped several times from the water with its mouth wide open trying to catch my hand, I used and I am very careful. The Mbenga is calm and I leave the water, he removes his hooks and Jim quickly took in his arms for photos. I put the Mbenga in the water ... and I resuscitated. This lasts a few seconds and Mbenga hand gently to the depths .... Bye bye Mbenga was the catch & release!
